شوكولا بيروت: حلوى بطابع وطني • فرانس 24
Someone suggested, "Oh, why don’t you do a Dubai chocolate?" And I said, "Oh, I think I can do one better and I’ll do a a Beirut chocolate and I’ll do flavors of of Lebanon. [Music] This whole project started as a fundraiser, a bake sale in uh in London for young children in Lebanon after the conflict. And someone suggested, "Oh, why don’t you do a Dubai chocolate?" And I said, "Oh, I think I can do one better and I’ll do a a Beirut chocolate and I’ll do flavors of of Lebanon." And for me, that’s amazing. But layera with mazah with the cashew decided to uh that that Lebanon needed to taste this chocolate and we’re now selling it in over 10 shops across Lebanon. We want to take it across the world. So from next month I’ll be producing it in [Music] London. And when I designed it, I wanted to create a love letter. So I took this beautiful Lebanese postage stamp with the ara on it. And then I put some other postmarks. Heritage is the one thing that no one can take away from you. Where you live, where you’re going is in your hands. But where you come from is something that cannot change and something that you should celebrate. And that’s Beirut Chocolate Sen. [Music]
