The Media Office announces that His Holiness Pope Leo XIV will celebrate the Mass proclaiming ecclesial communion with His Beatitude Patriarch Mar Polis III Nona on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, with the participation of the Chaldean Synod Fathers.
The Media Office invites the faithful of our Chaldean Church throughout the world to take part in this important ecclesiastical celebration in the Vatican. It also calls upon them to accompany this event with prayer for His Beatitude Patriarch Nona, for our bishops, and for our Chaldean Church in Iraq and throughout the diaspora, so that communion may remain a firm guiding principle in the life and mission of the Church.
